THE ART OF ORAL SEX
Saturday June 7th 11:00am - 1:00pm

Dear Sexpert

Dear Sexpert, I am a 41 year old female and I just started taking antidepressants. I have had difficulty having an orgasm since starting on the medication. What can I do? Sad in Syracuse

Dear Sad in Syracuse, You didn't tell me what particular antidepressant you are taking, but most antidepressants in the SSRI family can have sexual side effects. I want to say I am not an MD so I would suggest that you speak to your Dr. concerning the possibility of adding another medication such as Wellbutrin which is not an SSRI. Because you just started it, you may find that the side effects will go away after a time. The side effects are usually delayed orgasm & decrease of desire. Also take into account that you are taking the medication for depression. Depression even without medication can cause sexual problems. Please speak to your Dr. and / or therapist concerning this issue.

Dear Sexpert, Hello, I hope you can help me. I am 34 years old and my husband is 42. I tend to come quickly from intercourse, and my husband needs more foreplay time than I do to be satisfied. I am ok with it, but my husband is upset. Is this weird, or do other people find themselves in the same situation? Come Quick in Colorado

Dear Come Quick, I'm glad you wrote me, because it seems like in the last year I have met many women who can orgasm quickly. This does not match the studies that have been done on women's arousal. However, I am finding that it's not unusual. It would not be a problem if your husband were not upset. Therefore, I would add foreplay to your lovemaking repertoire so that you can have the quickies, and both of you can have the longer lovemaking sessions. leasure, the look of her ass, parts of her body.  Use all your senses to be in the moment, let go and just feel how good it is.  Let nature take its course and feel free.

Dear Sexpert, I am 27 years old and have been married for two months. The other night, my husband asked me to put my finger in his ass and asked me if sometime we could buy a strap on together so I can fuck him with it. I am totally shocked and confused. Does this mean that he is gay and I made a mistake in marrying him? Help me in Minnesota

Dear Help Me, It seems that you were not aware of this prior to your marriage. Therefore, I could see why this would be a shock to you. It is not unusual for men to enjoy anal play. This does not mean that he is a homosexual. The reason why men enjoy anal play is due to the fact that the prostate gland can cause increased sensations of arousal and more intense orgasms. If this is not something that you have ever done, you need to talk about this with your husband prior to anal play. Suggestions for anal play are a good "booty lube", short fingernails, and a slow pace. As far as the strap on, again this is not unusual and could be a lot of fun as part of role playing. It may also be the more you get comfortable with the idea of anal play with your husband, you may want to talk to him about anal sex with you. Good communication is the key.
